ELE is an approved partner with the Sheffield Alternative Provision framework. All Sheffield schools (and some from other South Yorkshire Local Authorities) can refer a student to our service through this system by contacting their link worker in the progressions team.

Alternatively referring professionals can make direct referrals to ELE. If you know someone who would benefit from our service, we would love to hear from you, please use the contact form below.

Regardless of the referral route ELE follows the same referral process for all students :-

1. Initial contact from referring professional

2. Completion and submission of ELE Referral Form

3. Referral meeting with School Staff and ELE Team

4. Parent meeting with school, ELE, parents and student

5. Agreement that ELE can meet the students’ needs

6. Completion of Service Level Agreement

7. Students' place is confirmed and days confirmed and the start date set.
